Tentakel is a kinetic light installation. It combines moving elements with modern moving heads and LED pixelstipes. LED strobes are installed on top.
There are 8 poles with 4 arms each. We install them on big areas like the Tanzwüste on Fusion, or Beukenbos on Into the Woods.
When the arms are down it changes an outdoor area into a place that feels like a club with a roof and lamps close above the crowd. When the arms move up, the area transforms into an open space with lights coming from the sky. With the help of the endless pan and tilt rotations of the Robe Spikes at the end of each arm, the up and down movements are like an ever changing choreography of light beams.
